10 questions about becoming an Avon Rep

Not sure if Avon is right for you. Here are the answers to the 10 most common questions when thinking of starting with Avon.

 

  1. How much can I earn doing Avon?     As an Avon Representative you earn on your customer orders. So when you reach £87.00 and over you earn 20% of what you sell to others. Then when you reach £160 and over in customer orders you then earn 25% on their orders. So if you achieve an order of £200 of customer orders you will earn roughly £50.
  2. How do I get paid?     When your order is delivered you get a detailed invoice which shows you how much you have to pay Avon. So you sort your orders take them to your customers and collect payment. Out of the money you collect in you pay your invoice and what is left is your earnings.
  3. How much does it cost to start Avon?    There are no upfront cost with Avon, once your account as the ok from Avon. You will be sent a Free Starter Kit. Only once you place an order is there any charge. An Admin fee is added to your account on placing your first order and this £16 and is split over your first two campaigns. £10 0n your first campaign and £6 on your second.
  4. What if I want to finish Avon?    We will want you to work Avon long term as valued member of our team, but if yo find its not for you. Then simply clear your balance on your account and let your sales leader know. Then after 3 campaigns of no orders your account will become inactive and after a further 15 your account will close.
  5. Do I have to do door to door?    No with Avon you can simply choose to sell to your friends, family and work mates.  You can also sell online with the online store. Using any of the many social media platforms. A great new tool for us all.
  6. Do I get any help and support?    As a valued member of our team you have access to lots of online support through Facebook, Videos as well as continued support and help from your sales leader.  As well as online training through your Avon website.
  7. How do I pay Avon?  You have 3 options for paying your invoice once you have delivered and collected all payments from your customers. You can pay online through your representative website with a debit or credit card. Over the phone on the Fast Track line with the same or the final option is to pay at your local Post Office with the giro slip on each invoice.
  8. Do I have to drive?     No you don’t if you choose to work territory it will be normally in walking distance. Please contact first with your postcode so we can check for you.  You can set the distance you are willing to travel for your online store orders.
  9. A customer can’t pay for their order do I have to cover the cost?     No if for what ever reason you cannot collect payment from your customer. You do not have to cover the cost. You can claim a credit online and then return the goods back to Avon on your next delivery.  Never leave any thing with anyone without collecting payment on delivery.
  10. How often do I need to place an order?      You normally get 3 weeks between order dates, with the exception of Christmas/New Year when each campaign is only 2 weeks. In a year you have 18 brochures so then you have 18 pay days.
